I always liked the sound of the acoustic six or twelve strings in Tom Petty songs. I think they do a good job of reinforcing the rhythm and beat without being very melodic. "Learning to Fly" is a good example of this...

Yea I love Tom Petty. He would be a good guy to listen to, thanks for that suggestion...
