Acoustic Guitar Community

Welcome to the Acoustic Guitar Community.

I just picked up a Blueridge BR180 used.  The extensive mother of pearl attracted me but when I picked it up and played it, I was blown away.  Solid rosewood back and sides and spruce top--terrific action but the sound is better than any acoustic I have heard recently.

I had my luthier put in a LR Baggs Anthem.  He said the extra resonance on this guitar will be at around 250 in the lower mids and he was right.  I can dial it out but in the rig I want to use it, I think I will use a ten slide EQ and notch it.

Is anyone else playing a Blueridge--how can they do this for the price?  The sound, wood, and workmanship are simply superb.
