Crack in my Taylor 210e-Suggestions?

I'm fairly certain that your present back can be repaired. That's a job for a professional, but I'd be really surprised if the back had to be replaced.

I don't know where you're located, but lack of humidity might be an issue. (my place regularly runs less than 30%) and in-case or room humidifier might be in order.

Check Frank Ford's website www.frets.com He has lots of information on all kinds of repairs.

As for the cost, I don't know.

Thanks for the advice, that website is really great.

I would also be very surprised if the whole back needed to be replaced. I don't think that it is a very structurally damaging crack since I hear absolutely no difference in tone.

Are you the original owner, if so please contact Taylor first and discuss it with them and then decide what you are going to do after.And even though the crack will not effect the tonal quality it will effect the resale value.Ship
