A friend of mine (Mr.Jorge Custódio) owns several Martin Guitars.One of them ( D-35-150th anniversary,built in 1983 ) got its binding unglued both on the table and on the back.Some

luthiers were contacted to fix this problem and all of them refuse to do it ( " is a very

expensive guitar and I don´t take any risks...bla,bla,bla....etc",absolutely ridiculous !!!!! ).


So I decided to fix the binding,I watched to some videos on YouTube,got everything needed

for the "job" and it took me 6 hours to get good results.

What kind of glue did you use?
How did you handle any overflow of glue that seeped out of the binding?
Did the tape leave any residue?
