I thought I would start a thread that deals with the subject of Who played What. For instance:
Tonight I am wondering about what kind of guitar Harry Chapin played?
I have seen one picture of him playing an Alvarez Yairi dreadnought. I don't know what model it is but I recognized the emblem on the headstock.
Also, just one picture could be misleading. For all I know, he might have been a big fan of Guild 12-strings. I am not finding a whole lot on the internet yet and, at this point any help would be appreciated.
So anyway, I just thought there might be some aficionado's/gear heads out there that would benefit from having a single thread on the subject of Who plays (or played) What.

Almost everyone of my heros played Martins. And being from S.E. PA originally it is my dream to eventually own one. But when I buy one it will be from the custom shop and done the way I want it done.
My current heros:
Indigo Girls-Martins, some Gibson, PRS electric and others
Bonnie Raitt-Fender
Johnny Cash-Martin
Melissa Etheridge-Ovation, PRS electric and some others
Hal Ketchum-Martin
