Hi Greg, read with interest the ariticle on Grammer Guitars, I always regretted not buying one when I had the chance about 20 years ago. Can you tell me anything thing about a double cut-a-way Martin produced sometime in the early to mid '80's?
I think It's an M sized guitar...and I don't think they were in production very long. I've never seen one, but have heard of them.

The Sounding Board magazine (quarterly mag by CF Martin) just happens to have pictures of the rare double cutaway in the January 2010 issue. You can view PDFs of the mag on mguitar.com. (the Martin guitar site). I believe a special custom was made for Brian May. It is a funky looking guitar. Not my cup of tea!

It is probably available through the custom shop....for a custom price!
