Need Opinions on Two Different Versions
This is a song I co-wrote with another lyricist called Fallin' Fallin'.
I recently had it professionally stem mastered, mixed and then final mastered.
Here are the two versions and I would appreciate your feedback on which one sounds better:
Version 1 (Latest Master) - audio swapped 11/29 at 11:33 a.m. Pacific
Version 2 (Alternate Mix)

I think like V2 better. It seems to be be a little more open/transparent sounding. The bass seems a bit tighter (not that my speakers are that great).

Thanks for listening everyone. I just received a new Master from the Engineer which responds to my feedback on the Original.
I swapped the audio out on Version 1 for the new Master on 11/29 at 11:33 a.m. Pacific Standard Time.
Have another listen to Version 1 because I'm liking it better now than Version 2.

Nice song, nice job. I listened with headphones, and I prefer Version 2. Version 1 (11/29 version) is a little richer (depth of sound, reverb, or whatever), but the vocal doesn't come through as well as in Version 2. If you tried bringing the vocal volume up in Version 1, it might be the winner, but overall I still think Version 2 is cleaner and clearer. One problem I noticed in both versions, but less pronounced in Version 2, is in the line "Wish you were here..." The "Wishoo" is much too sibilant. Maybe that can be engineerred out somehow.

I like version one better. I don't like the drums in version 2. They are too bright. No low end.

For me -Version 1 - it's warmer and bigger- suits the mood of the song better
