Welcome to the Acoustic Guitar Community.

Brian, Since string manufacturing is, relatively speaking, the same process ( I have toured the GHS and Dean Markley plants in Michigan) does it come down to the raw material used to produce longevity, tone, consistency, etc. in making a great string? If that is the case, how many suppliers are there and how do you determine who to purchase from? i.e. how do you follow up on due diligence on the suppliers to make sure you are getting great raw material for great string production time and time again? Thanks much, David
