Now, as to Xaviere acoustics - there have been some purchased by people on here, and I've researched them a bit. From what I've read, they are a bit hit-or-miss on the QC and the setup - you might get lucky and get an ok one. However, this is another case of a company (GuitarFetish) going over to China to have a "guitar maker" make a generic guitar for them with an individualized headstock and name. IMHO, nothing wrong with that, per se, as a business model; however, if you want to purchase an instrument, you would be better off with a Seagull (or any Godin acoustic), Walden, Eastman, Blueridge, Wechter, or even Recording King...
Walden, in particular, provides excellent value for the money...IMHO

I don't know much about these, but their archtops are well-regarded - and I love the soundhole on these!
Here's a link to the Gretsch acoustics: http://www.gretschguitars.com/products?section=acoustics
Enjoy!
