I was just notified by Thrasher that he has posted my Homeless Children charity donation request to Thrasher's Wheat (Neil Young News Blog)!

Hi Jeff, Thanks for the invite! I'm a starving musician in southern Minneasota that would rather play music than just about anything else. I started playing guitar at the age of 15 and been at it for about 38 years now. What is great about playing is that you never stop learning and growing.

Hi All, I'm looking forward to sharing and receiving insight. My guitar quest is to establish a unique sound/style for myself (as much as possible). My current approach is to develop around modal jazz in DADGAD using a vintage acoustic.

playerteacher .. i've had lots of trouble with my right hand for years. Seems an accident moving speaker cabinets cracked the bone and a big knot / calcium deposit remains where the break was. In addition, I play guitar , piano and type on the computer constantly ( like now haha )
A friend said to me, "well it must not hurt too much, you can play guitar" and i replied, "it's the only time it doesn't hurt" ( which is odd , right ) well later i read an article about how doctors are using sound waves to treat arthritis and joint pain, then it hit me .. the sound from the guitar was therapeutic !!
So, .. to answer your question , playing the guitar might be the best treatment, it is for me .. :)
