had to ask, sometimes we forget the obvious or overlook I should say. thanks all.

I've only replaced the strings on my 'new' Maritime SWS HG three times, with D'Addario Phospher Bronze each time. I say 'new' because I got the guitar about a year and a half ago. I thought the guitar was a little bright at first, but have come to think of that 'bright' sound as my preferred sound. Perhaps the guitar's ageing also came into play, and the sound may have changed more than my ear.
