Just bought a Seagull SWS SG............I fell in love with the way this looked even before I fumbled out a couple of chords. Kind of a rustic look with the nut and saddle much darker than normal, and the machine head controls matching. This guitar looks like it was made 30 years ago, and sounds great to my newbie ears. Have only been back playing for 4 months after a 35 year hiatus.
Have 2 Yamaha acoustics, a Peavey SC2 electric, and my new Gull. Life is good.

Enjoy that thing! I've learned a HUGE amount just by watching and learning about songs I was interested in from YouTube, you may find that a good resource as well!

Have a few guitars around the house now, but the Seagull Maritime SWS is the one I seem to pick up most often.
(it's my only acoustic at the moment)
I'm much the same, played a fair bit in the 60/70's then nothing till just recently when I started buying random guitars that seemed too shiny to leave hanging in the stores ...
Guess picking up shiny bits is part of being in a flock of gulls 8-)..

Thanks
