Welcome to the Acoustic Guitar Community.

Hey folks!  What's the consensus on the Performer and Natural Series?  Do the maple bodies tend to be brighter sounding?  How do they stack up against the S6?

I bought my Seagull because it was handsome, comfortable, and sounded great for the cost. I noticed that every time I went to the guitar store after I bought it that it seemed like my fingers were all scrunched up on the fingerboards. For whatever reason, I never thought to ask about nut width. I guess I assumed all guitars were the same unless you went to a classical guitar.

But... My buddy in the USMC had a Randy Rhodes model Jackson electric. It had a wider fingerboard on it. I still have dreams I'm playing on it now. Well, I've been wanting a new guitar and I went looking for a guitar with a wider fingerboard. In the process found out I probably had the widest fingerboard available (Seagull MG Cedar GT), except for this Peppino model. Now I want one!

Through this process of discovery I also figured out why some of my chord forms are goofy. I scrunch my index finger behind and between my middle and ring fingers on A, for instance. On my guitar I don't have to, I just do because that's the way I used to have to do it and it became a habit. Now I know why.
