I've been aware of the intonation issue of my Showcase for a while, but I more or less dealt with it. But when the newly-acquired Woodland Pro Folk proved to have much better intonation, I couldn't…Continue

Hi guys 'n' gals,I think I'm having a neck issue with my 2012 Maritime SWS dread. A straight edge down the fretboard drops below the bridge by about 1/16", and I've had to take the saddle down…Continue

Comment by Ron Khoo on April 29, 2012 at 9:45pm It is spring time
And the gulls are eating
Lots of fishing
Time to put on weight
Winters over
And the living is good
So sing lovely gullies
And make the musical tune
<sung to summertime>
Comment by John Culver on April 29, 2012 at 9:32pm ...sleep won't seem to come...somewhere out beyond the cliffs...my Seagull is making its' way to me...
Comment by John Culver on April 29, 2012 at 7:28am ...Jud...yoou've got my mouth watering for that Artist Mosaic QII!
Comment by Jud Hair on April 28, 2012 at 6:37pm John ... Sounds like GAS is hitting you hard! A Mosaic would be a great weay to add a cedar top to your collection. As with all Seagull dreads, the dimensions are pretty much identical throughout the line-up, but with the Artist models you get a bound fingerboard and a few other blingy type features such as gold/pearloid tuners and abalone dot bridge pins and of course the super-cool pearl Seagull inlay at the 12th fret!
PS: Congrats on the new grandchild! A Seagull Artist woulld make a great legacy to leave as an heirloom (many years from now of couse:).
Comment by Jason J. on April 28, 2012 at 5:51pm Awesome on the Tuesday arrival. My longest wait have been a week and it was coming from Canada to Illinois.
Congrats John! Maybe you'll be gassing for a 12 string "cousin" for your Maritime...don't forget I've an '08 Maritime Gloss in the case with tags still on....
Comment by Ron Khoo on April 28, 2012 at 12:27pm Great to get it on Tuesday. Have fun with new guitar. Seagulls sound nice and warm.
Comment by John Culver on April 28, 2012 at 11:42am next aquisition....Artist Mosaic QII....from what I can see...it's pretty much the same as the Maritime, save the cedar top, and a few asthetics....can't wait!....(terminal GAS!)
