Not on 29", Edward!  30" and 32" I´ve made fretless. Hard to compare when the 30" was much of a testbass. I love the "closeness" in the sound of the 29" Bass! With the right strings it is much more "precise" in the sound.

Edward! I´m waiting for an order on a 29" fretless! :)

It's beautiful Olav!  Have you ever made a fretless bass?  If so, does the shorter scale work well for a fretless?  Thanks, Edawrd

Hey Craig,

As much as I would love to have the fretless Hofner, I don't have the funds just now...just married off my middle child...but if you send more pics and an asking price to my regular email, I will shop it around for you.  Great ax! although I am sure you still have my email, here it is again...

Thanks, Ed

P.S.That Gibby Dove still working for you?

I'm considering a Kala U Bass for a travel bass.  I've watched several videos of this little bass in action and I'm very impressed with the sound for such a little body.  Has anybody got anythign to say about the cute little boomer.  Check it out on Youtube at the NAM show in Nashville.  Paul Simons bass player is accompanying a guy and they do Billie Jean (MJ) and this little bass is right there with the groove.  I love this thing.  I have to have one!
