Hi Friends, & Fans

You’re invited to my next musical show.  After my  Musical Tour of Italy, and singing the newest song from Bruce Springsteen at The Bootlegger Bistro in Las Vegas; I am now focusing my guitar on a venue  near you.

Panama Bay Coffee Company, on the exciting First Street in Livermore

2215 First Street

Livermore, CA

8 to 10 PM

Friday, June 8th

This show will feature songs made famous by Stevie Wonder, BB King, and my Original Comedy Songs:   Google’s Car No Driver, Occupy Wall Street, and We’re All Facebookin’.

“Carl commanded the audience over the constant whir of blenders in the background at Paddy’s Coffee House with the ease of an old pro. His energetic singing style is firmly rooted in the rousing folk traditions of his contemporaries, Bob Dylan and Arlo Guthrie, to name a few. He can soothe on a wistful standard such as Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World.” Or thoroughly entertain with his clever little ditties culled from newspaper articles.  Either way, you can’t really remain a casual listener when Carl Tilchen plays; he’ll have you clapping along in no time.” JS

“Carl Tilchen has impressive credentials…shared the spotlight with Pete Seeger at the famous folk club The Village Gate, and at the legendary Newport Folk Music Festival.”  Jim Harrington, Contra Costa Times, Bay Area News Group.

Hi Bay Area Acoustic Guitarists

I am Carl Tilchen Singer/Songwriter.  For more than 40 years I have composed, and performed my songs, and sung the best songs of Pete Seeger, and Bob Dylan to make our world a more peaceful, and loving place.  I marched with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to end the Vietnam War.  I taught children in the poverty stricken school districts of New York City.  I worked to save our environment.

On Thursday, April 26th I will endorse Sarabjit  Kaur Cheema for the California State Assembly because I sincerely know that she can make a positive difference, and help all Califorians.  You can view Cheema For California, the song I have composed.  Please click this link http://sarabjitkaurcheema.org/index/, then scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click the arrow in my picture.

You can enjoy Cheema For California, and many more songs to make our world a better place at-

The Wild Vine Lounge

2187 First Street, Livermore, CA

Thursday, April 26th, 6-7 PM

The Wild Vine Lounge features many popular beers, wines, and mixed drinks.  21+ only, please.  Convenient on, and off street parking.

I’ll sing for you,

Carl Tilchen
