Hi All, just joined up on this group, as I've recently delved into the Carbon Fiber world! Been a long time Ovation fan, and just picked up my first Adamas, a 2000 Millennium limited edition. Carbon Fiber/spruce top, planetary inlays (when there were still 9 known planets), OP-Pro electronics, 5 piece maple neck, rare wood epaulets, the thing is a beauty! Only 75 were made to celebrate the turn of the millennium.
She sounds as good as she looks:

It's really a shame that Composite Acoustics has closed its doors. They made a really good carbon fiber guitar--better, in my view, than Rainsong, which always seemed to me to more or less use wood technology (bracing, number of pieces, etc.) to build CF instruments.
