Hey Brent, you are welcome here right qualify with an "Epi Interest!" Keep us posted on what happens and what you decide, even if you decide not to go for the Epi.  Thanks, Edward

Greetings All...I do not currently own an Epiphone instrument but am not so patiently awaiting the arrival of some MB-250s at my nearly local music store so... if one of them speaks to me and says "take me home" I *will* be an Epi owner soon, so here I am :)   Brent

Blueberry, hmmm. They look interesting. Don't know if I would buy one without playing it first, since the information about them is limited. Alas .. this is an epiphone thread.

I've had good luck purchasing guitars from e-bay.

I have bought 3 off of eBay with no problems including my Martin OMC.

But note your mileage may vary - that's my disclaimer.

Yes, I think I'm going to go for it. I have an Epiphone 75 hollow body I'm going to sell so it will offset the price of the new one.

Check out the "Buying on Chance" discussion in the "Guitar Collectors" group...

I've bought 2 on "chance" now - my Giannini Craviola (pretty much total chance from Amazon), and my daughter's Walden T550 (informed, researched, and Jud checked it out for me chance from "Hole in the Wood") - had great results with each!  My friend bought a Seagull 25th Anniversary from someone in this community - informed chance - and that was a great guitar, too...

Go for it!  And if you don't like it, maybe you can sell it for a tiny profit (or no loss...) ;-)

I own an AJ500 Masterbilt and love it. Being a jumbo it projects and sounds great.
