I'm hearing from many musicians, people who run instrument shops, etc. that Epiphone uses cheap Asian wood. I know that the company is not the same it was when it was American with Greek luthiers,…Continue

I got my PR350E cheap because the electronics didn't work. At the time I didn't care 'cuz it was my first git and I didn't have an amp. Talking to a tech at a shop got me looking at the piezo p/u under the saddle. He told me to make sure it was VERY straight and parallel to the saddle. When I changed strings, I readjusted it and everything is working FINE now. All I need now is an amp. Keeping It Fun, Dean
Comment by Edward Sparks on April 8, 2012 at 4:49am Rev., here's wishing you luck..."repaired electronics" may be a good bargaining tool to get the price lower, and if you don't need electronics then that works for you...if you do need electronics, then you get a refurbished pickup that will work for you! Let us know what happens! Edward
Comment by Rev. Matt Fontana on April 7, 2012 at 8:33am Hey guys wish me luck because I've got my eye on a pre-owned Epiphone EJ-200 CE. They're only going to put a price on the guitar after they fix the electronics and I'm sorta chompin' at the bit to "git my hands on that axe"!
I think I found it at the link below. New about 150 Euros or about 200 bucks, Mostly it appears this was a guitar sold in Europe (mostly I suppose.
I think the link (hey....it rhymes) below may be the guitar.

Comment by Rev. Matt Fontana on April 2, 2012 at 7:53pm Hey Ted, that's cool. Is that an all Koa body like something Fender used to offer?
