Dealer did a no cash trade for a Gretsch Mahogany Boxcar resonator.

ok update of the discolouration issue!

Dealer says Fender refuses to do anything. happened 10 months after purchase they don't believe it's a fault of theirs. (we don't really know WHEN it happened actually, since i was not playing it)

The dealer has stepped up and said he will apply full purchase price to what ever I want. Unfortunately he does not carry Guild, so no d125-12. If i prefer, he will give me cash.

Nice! What was the dealer response to the lamination issue?

While I was showing the defective Hellcat to dealer http://www.acousticguitarcommunity.com/group/fenderacousticowners/f...

another customer asked me to audition a couple guitars for him. He was buying his dad one and didn't feel he could choose properly. I forget what the 1st one was, but the second was a California Series Sonoran. It has a nice loud warm tone, it was even suitable for fingerstyle. The fellow bought it and kept trying to pay me for testing them for him.  I refused of course, but i did suggest  to the store owner he owed me a commission. :)

Here's another post with eye candy of my 1980 FJ-70 (jumbo sunburst!).  Found it a good home this past w/e.
