Here's another post with eye candy of my 1980 FJ-70 (jumbo sunburst!).  Found it a good home this past w/e.

Greetings!  New member here.

Recently purchased a beautiful 1980 Fender FJ-70 sunburst jumbo acoustic.  Picture and review here:

Since then also just picked up a 1980 Fender F-50 (review will be up tomorrow).  Love these vintage Fender acoustics!

As mentioned before, I rock with an Epiphone AJ-100 and with, this, my Fender CD-110 for Drop-D tuning.

Welcome to the group Rev. glad you're so happy with your Fender. No worries about your profile pic we here at Fender the Forgotten Acoustics are friendly to all guitars but especially Fenders :)

Hi everyone, I apologize that my profile pic shows a different brand name and body style, but I have a pre-owned (and my I say well maintained) CD-110 CE, one of two pre-owned dreadnoughts. I played this guitar along with other new Fenders in the local shop and was not disappointed with the sound of any of them. But when I found out this guitar was priced less than the new CD-110 CEs (and given that it's black), I seized the opportunity to buy this guitar. No regrets. Now that's three guitars I love to play!

Thought I'd share a couple of pics:

My CD-220 SCE in action at Dan McLean's Acoustic Open Stage at Sarah's Cafe & Bar, Toronto ON shortly after I bought it in May 2011:

A truly excellent venue with a great vibe and a supportive audience.

And my ancient F-35 at a world record guitar ensemble attempt:

You can't see any of them but there were over 1600 other guitars in Dundas Square, Toronto on that June day in 2009 all playing Neil Young's Helpless. Unfortunately we fell about 150 short of setting the record.
