I injured my left index finger about a year ago. I couldn't play at all for months. It still has some slight limitations, but I'm playing again. Robert and Ed:  I hope and pray you guys will mend quickly and get back to enjoying your guitars!

Robert and Ed, Hope you guys mend quickly. Semper Pax, John

I hope it heals quickly. I have a torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder from playing softball. I guess I just can't throw a ball as hard as I once did. Anyway, I have had to downsize guitars from dreads and jumbos. I got a Taylor 322, an all mahogany concert size. It is slightly bigger than a parlor guitar. Much more comfortable to warp my arm over.

good luck..

i sprained a tendon or perhaps a bursis in my left elbow while disassembling my two winter car shelters yesterday. I cannot even pick up a guitar in my left hand today. Barely hold a cup of coffee. This on top of arthritis and diabetic peripheral neuropathy in right hand.

Hey guys, I haven't been on here for a while....I have been trying to get an ulnar nerve problem cleared up so I can pick with my right hand...right now I can't even grip a pencil or squeeze a flat pick.  Anyway, I'll get better.  Check out my informal picking sessions and let me know what you think......I'm just learning but getting better the more I play.

go to fingerpicking with Larry session 1 and there are 5 total on youtube......

please don't laugh if you blow me away.....I am improving.

Have any fingerstylists checked out the Ibanez AC450CE?

The specs look interesting: 1 3/4" nut, short scale, solid cedar top...At $400, it might be a reasonable consideration for some of us financially challenged pluckers. Any experience with these?

Good job Chris. I do a lot of improv myself. That was good.

Wow! Improvising in public in an alternate tuning! I consider you a brave soul. Nice stuff there! Thanks for sharing it here, Chris.

I'm in the woods - this one is in DADEAD with a white K-lever on +3.
