I just want to tell all of the members of FPP that I appreciate each one of you.

Playing music is like therapy for me, it's the one time during the week that I can let go of stressful things and just have fun with friends. I hope all of you are as fortunate.

hi this is stephen from canada and i saw frontporch pickers and it reminded me of a week ago when some friends came over and we played for some neighbours and they all sang while we played ...just loved it but its been to hot lately to enjoy that

Peg - Hopefully you were able to get out these past couple of beautiful days here in VA.

Here's a shot of some of the pickers that gather on the front porch of the General Store at Frying Pan Park in Herndon, VA. It was only in the 90's that day!

DMackey - my avatar gives an idea of the guitar I play. They are each oddball models from these manufacturers, but I love 'em.

Jesse,
Its a muggy 100deg here also but I have a friend who has a music room we play in once a week.
If a guitar has a good sound and plays well, then its a Cadillac. My Guild looks like trash but plays and sounds well. Its kinda like an old car that's not much for looks but runs well.
