What I have is a Tascam US 1641 16X4 96k24bit USB Audio/ Midi Interface.

It's a rackmount unit with 8-XLR inputs + 2 1/4"stereo line in/ guitar jacks on the front,

MIDI in & out, and 4 trs line inputs, 4 trs (balanced) ine outs, and L & R monitor outs on the rear.

It connects to my computer via USB, so I can use my recording program to multitrack on the PC.

Right now we're in the middle of a remodel that is spilling over into my LR/ Studio so things are askew & disconnected at the moment.

I think I paid about $300 for it, & it came with Cubebase LE.

What I found at MF & GC are $363 used

Thanks, Arlie.  Looks like I only missed a couple and they're coming thru just fine now.  Probably a glitch in the email server.  Looking forward to hearing your songs.  My next acquisition is going to be some kind of digital recorder, though what I'd REALLY like to get my hands on is one of the Mackie ONYX 1640i mixers.  We've wanted to record for years.

Robert

On the right of every page where you see your name, inbox etc. the bottom of that list is the settings link.

There you can adjust your settings for your email settings (3rd one downon the list on the left side) On that page, you can select which notifications you want to be emailed about, or even no emails from AGC.

If you need any more help feel free to send me a message

Walt (no I'm not stalking you)

Belive it or not when I was in the hospital, I wrote a couple of country gospel songs. I'll post them as soon as I get them videoed.

The only copies I have are on a 4 track master, & my Tascam 424 MKII quit functioning.

You're right, Robert, looks like the last activity was in October.  Praying for your gigs and especially the job!

For some reason, I haven't been getting notification of posts to this forum for a while and I've missed hearing from / about you all.  Hope it's because you're all so busy ministering you haven't had time to post.

Anyway, I'd appreciate your prayers as we have 2 gigs coming up - 1 this Friday at the House of Purpose coffeehouse in Hillsboro, NH, and a benefit concert at First UMC Laconia-Gilford (NH) on March 23rd.  Also, I have a job interview tomorrow (Wed 2/8) and I've been out of work for a while now.

Thanks, folks.

New here. Have played in churches for decades. Loved the music, the people and the calling. Also love other genres too; guess I'll sit here a while with others of like mind and calling. Jay

Well, I placed my ad in the local papers and had about six calls. One lady came out last week and signed up. I'm thinking now of starting a ukulele class for those who find guitar too hard. I may try to take the classes to the public schools in my area as well. Maybe even senior's residences might like a challenge.
