I have a GAD-F20, and I find it surprisingly responsive and resonant. It's great too for sitting on the couch because of its' size.

Hi everyone! Just got back from Matt Umanov on Bleecker Street in Manhattan. Played a GAD-F20 (which is not on the website) and a new CT.made F30. The GAD was just fine and the F30 was really something.

Today there are two DCE-1's on eBay, a red one and a black one.

I find it surprising they are going for so little. My 93 DCE is my favorite gigger.

Pardon the typo- I found it to be astounding-the reason is that I had never held back on my original M-20 with my Martin D-line friends!

Hi Ted,
I purchased a new M-20 last year fro a reasonable price. It came in very good condition, except there was some buzzing on the lower two strings @5-7 frets. I brought it to a guitar tech who told me that they normally were played softly, which I sound to be an astounding commment. He mostly fixed it, but I might readdress it it in the future. Fender did cover it. It plays extremely well & the sound does not boom, but is distinctive as in a mahogony body. The finish is the dark mahogony high gloss & is extremely easy to hold. I had owned the same one new@1968 that was stolen in NYC. I had always thought about replacing & I'm satisfied that it was a good valued for the price. I play all sorts of styles, ragtime to rock, jazz, classical, flat pick & finger pick etc. It's hard to compare it with the original as I lost it over 25 yrs ago. The action is pretty good. Also, it is made in China.

Anybody else seen the DCE-1 on Ebay? it was listed a few weeks ago for a minimum of $600 and got no bids. Now its back on for $550 minimum and no bids yet.
