Congratulations, Ed!

You (and Lily) surely deserve it!

My latest build, The "Lily" guitar named for my granddaughter will be in Premier Guitar Magazine this month (Feb. issue)!  Check it out...here is a screen shot from the digital on-line version of what will appear in the print version!

Hi Jim,

I use an iMAC with Logic Pro 9 to do all my recording and it is the core of my home studio. This guitar was a promo made for Apple. Not sure who made it but it is pretty cool.

Edward - I like the Apple guitar! . . . as I sit here pounding on my iMac keyboard (also an Airport Extreme router, a few iPhones, iPods, and an iPad in the house.  Can't help myself, I bought my first Mac in 1986).  What is extra nice is that it is an Apple that will never need a software upgrade.

Was it made from a kit or an existing guitar with the hole modified, or built from scratch?  Whoever made it, I say it's a job well done!

Ah, LSH = Large Sound Hole...I get it now! Cool!

I certainly wouldn't want the apple guitar either, but it is cool!

How about a Harley-Davidson sound hole? You know, with the shield design they stole... uh... used from the railroad tracks behind the shed where they first made them? I bet that would sell. I can see orange and black rings around it. Maybe even an inlay in the headstock.

I'm another "old guy" who was wondering what LSH meant. I do my share of texting with work but didn't know that one. I looked it up on InternetSlang and came up with "laughing so hard". Now I see it really means "large sound hole" LOL

I love Apple products....but I'm not sure I'd want to play a guitar like that. However, I would LOVE to build one for some Apple big wig ;-)

It does look like nice work (technically) but I cannot think of any corporate entity that I like enough to do something like that.  BTW, I am a capitalist.

Well, my friends,

I DO like Apple computers, and I DO like steel-string guitars, but, to  be honest, to associate both things doesn't seem a happy solution... unless you are invited to play at Apple headquarters. Anyway, the luthier who made that guitar did a clean, nice job, thanks Ed for posting
