Do you "open mic" ??  If so, what's your favorite open mic venue in the Triangle area?

I have two:

"Falls River Music" 10930 Raven Ridge Road in Raleigh, every Wednesday night at 7:00 pm

"Unitarian Universalist Fellowship" at 313 Wade Avenue in Raleigh" 4th Friday of each month at 7:00 pm

Both of these are a cut above the average bar/coffee house venues because they attract a "listening" audience that pays attention to and appreciates the music.

What are your favorites??

Cole Clark guitar clinic with Maneli Jamal at Harry's Guitar Shop on the corner of Glenwood and Peace in Raleigh on May 13th at 7:00 pm ... Cole Clark guitars are made in Australia ... Harry's is now an official distributor. This is an opportunity to hear a great guitarist and to demo some great guitars for yourself!

The "Taylor Road Show" is coming to Harry's Guitars in Raleigh on April 28 ... if you haven't experienced one of these free events, you're missing out.  Very informational, educational ... and an opportunity to actually play lots of great guitars!

Any of the rest of you at the Steve Earle / Shawn Colvin concert in Durham last Thursday in Durham?  Great evening with two great artists.

Yes, "The Mod" open mic was fun. Will return next week, and maybe get there earlier. Seems that I'm always the closer at Pittsboro open mics.
