I purchased this leftover 2010 model brand new in 2012 from a Walden dealer. It is a grand auditorium size, virtually identical in dimensions to the Taylor GA or x14 models. I have found the GA…Continue

So, this time, you good people can tell ME what guitar you would have bought with either the $400 I spent on the van last Friday, the $550 or so I'm about to spend, or the grand total of $950...2 guitars maximum for this exercise, please... ;-)
Comment by FloridaGull on July 23, 2012 at 2:50pm I just won tickets to see Yes and Procul Harem this Friday night at the Mizner Park Amphitheatre in Boca Raton! Steve Howe's fingers can still fly over that fretboard... :-)

Comment by FloridaGull on July 19, 2012 at 12:49pm My minivan is in for service - mechanic just called - about $400 - I immediately thought "I could get a Seagull Coastline Cedar Folk or even a discontinued Walden CD552EB 12-string with electronics for that... :-(

Comment by FloridaGull on July 10, 2012 at 11:19am Oh, they've discontinued the G570L - if you know anyone who'd like one, check out my friend Dave Word's website - www.holeinthewood.com - he's an online Walden dealer - here's a link to the discontinued G570L:

$254.95... ;-)
Comment by FloridaGull on July 10, 2012 at 11:16am Thanks for commenting! A friend of mine just bought a G570TB, and he loves it - then another friend bought a CD552EB (discontinued 12-string) after "strumming two chords"...
Others have said it - Waldens are sleepers right now...
Comment by The LMOM on July 10, 2012 at 10:50am Hi, all.
I've been lurking for a little while now and thought I'd just say "hi" and introduce myself. I've had a G570L for 3 years now and I still love it. I bought it as an inexpensive guitar I could use for a while until I found a better guitar I really liked. But after 3 years, two records, and a bunch of shows I still haven't started looking for another because I like the 570 so much. It's still my only guitar and I don't see any need to "upgrade."
Anyway, nice to see Walden getting some love from other folks too.

Comment by Jud Hair on July 8, 2012 at 6:39pm That's a relief! Some nice low-profile wooden knobs would look very classy!
