I plan on going.
Doug, I'd be interested; I've been a long-time fan of Jacques Stotzem. Please keep me posted.
Comment by Stu Frazier on April 14, 2012 at 8:36am Depending on the weekend I would probably be able to attend. I will have one weekend in October when my band plays a show both days. Don't know the date yet though...
Comment by Doug Young on April 13, 2012 at 11:52pm Hey Gang, Jacques Stotzem, fantastic Belgium guitarist will be out here in Oct. He was scheduled for Mission City, and I hope to have someplace worth his time by then, but I was also wondering if anyone would be up for a workshop while he's hear. I could probably host a small group at my place. No idea of the details, length, cost, etc, but Jacques was one of the most articulate players I've run into when I interviewed him a while back, and he's got both amazing technique, very practical, and a musical spirit sensibility that's not unlike Ed Gerhard, in his own way. I think he'd teach a great class. I haven't approached him with the idea yet, but is there any interest from the group?
Comment by Mark Kostrzewa on April 12, 2012 at 2:40pm Update to the Acoustic round robin this Sunday at Cameron's. Mark Lemaire has injured his hand and won't be able to attend but I was able to get a wonderful Classical guitarist out of Pacifica- Ms. Vera Vanderschalk, to join Doug and myself. Going to be a great kick off to the event.
Comment by David Casseres on April 12, 2012 at 2:16pm Do it, Mark.
