Update to the Acoustic round robin this Sunday at Cameron's.  Mark Lemaire has injured his hand and won't be able to attend but I was able to get a wonderful Classical guitarist out of Pacifica- Ms. Vera Vanderschalk, to join Doug and myself.  Going to be a great kick off to the event.

Do it, Mark.

Hey Michael, let me see what magic i can work on the homefront and try and make it over to your place for the fingig.  MK

I'm also good for the 22nd.

I've eaten lunch at B Street and Vine, and it's a very nice room.  Plus, easily reachable by Caltrain.

Thanks Michael, I will attend. That's 6 Fingiggers already counting you!

Hope things work out for a new Guitar Night venue Doug. I don't get a lot of time to look for this type of thing but I do eat lunch out most every day around the Santa Clara / San Jose area. I'll start paying more attention.

B Street & Vine in San Mateo has live jazz very frequently, they are a bit upscale from Mission City, but they also have a back room, lots of parking . . would definetly change it to a mid-peninsula crowd.

If we all keep our eyes, ears and imaginations open, I am sure we will come up with a solution . . . heck, it might even be better than Mission City!

This is another issue I'm finding. Many places aren't open late, most coffee shops do their business in mornings and lunch. Backyard closes at 7PM most night, 5PM Sat and Sunday. I'd have to convince them it was worth staying open, which might be tough. There's a place in Los Gatos that has some potential as far as space, but they close at 2PM on weekends!

Terrific, I'll check it out. Redwood City's a bit far north for the Santa Cruz contingent and some of my other southern-most regulars, but I may not have the luxury of being picky. I've talked to Angelica's and they're willing to give it a try, but it would be on a thursday, and the setup is a little odd, and they'd want to have a dinner requirement.
