Yeah, The location is not ideal, tho it may not be that bad coming over 92 for mid-peninsula people?  For me Mission City was 20 minutes away, this place is 28. Still keeping my eye out for someplace in the south bay, but pickings are slim. The South Bay Folk are coming up dry - they're using a noise pizza place for now. Hard to believe there's not a decent music venue in the south bay, but so far, choices are slim. This place is an open question, too. Oddly, the owner is concerned that we may bring in too many people, she's worrying about "stress on her staff" and driving away current customers. I suspect she'll relax once we've done one, and at least this lets us keep going while keeping an eye out for other options.

I just finished watching the munchkin - prolly too late for Bensusan down in Felton. :-(

Fremont?!?  It took an hour to get to Santa Clara...I don't know...that's a haul from La Honda!  Of course the HMB showcase is back up and running.  I may have to make that my home base.

I'll try to make at least some of the Fremont evenings, though...Fremont?!?

Hey, for anyone not on my mailing list, we're back on with a monthly show, still the 1st Sunday, 7PM but at Fremont Coffee in Fremont. 151 Washington. First show is June 3 with Mokai and Steve Osborne. Should be just like old times :-) The owner isn't sure what this is all about, but is willing to give it a try, so I hope this works.
