I''l be out of town that Sunday - doing a concert/workshop for Ken Donnell somewhere in the wilderness of Northern CA, back in time for Ed's workshop.

As it turns out, I cannot make Fingig on the 22nd. But, so far, nobody has confirmed they can do it anyway. Gerhard is the following weekend - workshop on Saturday the 28th, concert at the Freight on Sunday night the 29th. Anybody want to do Fingig on the 22nd?

Pretty slow night at Fremont Coffee. Haven't had that small a crowd since the Blue Rock Shoot days. I wondered how many people would make the trek to Fremont twice, and I think I got the answer. Between that, the noise, the mediocre acoustics, and tiny stage, I think I'll throw in the towel there, and focus on Da Kine, hoping we can get back to Sundays when the city allows it. Mark and Steve were terrific, tho. I especially enjoyed Steve's playing, some really cool tunes.

I'll go sign up for Ed, I'll have to figure out something to play for him, I guess. I'll be out of town the 22nd, teaching a workshop up north someplace in the middle of nowhere.

Sorry I couldn't make it to Sundays gig.  Things got really busy Sunday on the "honey do" list...

Yes, sign up for Ed's workshop.  One of those seats is the one I'm giving up since I can't be there this year.  I'll still be recuperating  from surgery for cysts on my fingers.

Folks, hope you all had a good time at the Fremont Mission gig.

I can't remember who voluteered for Fingig this month. I think it was the 22nd?

Please help and post as soon as possible.

Also, if you haven't already, please sign up for our 1 day workshop with Ed Gerhard on Saturday the 28th. There are still 3 chairs open. Go to Ed's website for info and registration or contact me. It's gonna be bigtime fun!
