Right back at you Jon. Have a good gig!

Rog, the tuning was "almost" good with my HD lights. I kicked it up about a 1/4 step and all is good!

best T-giving wishes to this fine bunch of fingerstylists....the day after I'm playing in Saratoga  with a really good violinist, drop by for a glass of wine http://patch.com/california/saratoga/hardly-strictly-jazz-saratoga-0

Yeah, folks, sorry - our place isn't going to be terribly hospitable this weekend.  Peter ordered the pump today, to be delivered tomorrow, but when he got to the last page of the order, it said "to be delivered between 12/1 and 12/5.  Bastids!  Guess who? Grainger.  mutter, mutter, grumble grumble....  We're showering at the neighbors' place, and eating off paper plates.  See you Sunday.

Mike, IME lights aren't very happy with detuning. Mediums should help a lot.

I've been tinkering with a couple CGCGCD arrangements, a new tuning for me. I'm hoping for some input on these and maybe somebody else has a tune or two in this weird low tuning? I'm having trouble keeping it in perfect tune on my 12 fret with HD lights. Maybe I'll break out the old D-28 with mediums on it and try that?

Well, Happy Holidays everyone! I am watching the weather this Thanksgiving week and it is looking great for T-day but kinda wet for the scheduled Sunday Fingig at Lisa's (her road and driveway can be challenging with 2+ inches of rain, which = MUD) I agreed to be the alternate host in case of heavy rain, so chime in if you would so I can get a feel for how many are interested in coming? I also noticed on FB they lost their pump, so good luck Lisa and Peter getting a new one in place before T-day.

Thanks for coming out to see Tim last night! He's off teaching at Gryphon now.  Hope your bike ride clears up your back, Mike
