Porchboard Floor Bass

Ever wish you could have a little rhythm while you're playing solo but don't like the mechanical beat boxes that you have to turn knobs or push buttons to get a noise that you have to follow?

Adding zing to your thing

As you likely know already, the Porchboard plays like a kick drum. Some drummers are even replacing their bass drum with the Porchboard because of it's superior sound and anti-feedback properties. Ho…

Well...just in case I have mystery readers I finally got a chance to try out my Porchboard bass. For a guy who taps his foot a lot it seems I don't keep tapping all the way thru a song unless I actually think about it. My other problem is a normal height chair that I usually use is a little low to out my feet up on the PB and still lean forward enough to sing into the mic and read my cheat sheets. I guess I need to spend time fine tuning my position.

Looks like I"m preaching to myself here but I just got a call from the Post Office that my PB arrived. They were about to send it back because the address on it did not include my unit # but luckily they tried to call me and I was here so it looks like I better go pick it up before they send it back!

Well.....I'm tapping my foot....no PB under it yet but hopefully it will arrive soon. I've never been able to figure out shipping cross border. You can ship world wide in 2 days but it takes over a week to go from USA to Canada.

Hi guys. I'm surprised I never knew about these pedals. They have been on the market for 15 years and I just heard about them a couple of weeks ago. I have researched the market and talked to musicians that use these pedals and finally ordered one yesterday. You can't buy them in stores. You have to get them from the manufacturer in WI so as a Canadian I was worried about ordering something I can't try out first but Nadene assured me there is no risk (above shipping) If you are not absolutely satisfied you get your money back. Hopefully mine will arrive early next week. If any of you guys own and play one of these things I'd love to get your impressions and advice on using them.
