I was going to put this off until after Holidays but sometimes inspiration hits so I recorded it while I was feeling inspired. Lyrics by Sue Mrithujayan. I am so impressed with Sue's lyrics! She has a real gift for songwriting. We just met and have already done two songs together. She's sent me a third song already. I really like how this one turned out.
Just like the last moment I heard her say
I do love you, I never faked or told you any lies
I just can't hide, if I lie or hide, it will come out soon
Truth is like the naked face of day
All I could be is be myself, just be myself
She just whispered on air for me to hear
A star nine born somewhere to burn the light
Something for the kids to count on and smile real wide
A star nine born somewhere to burn the light
And the dark went deep.....and deeper into midnight.
It was such a hurricane, thunder and rain
Trees spin around, some fell down
He thought again like yesterday
The day never faded from his mind
But the color of galaxy hidden in his heart so subtly
All I could be is be myself, just be myself
He remembered one day just what she said
All I could be is be myself , just be myself
She just whispered on the air for me to hear
Beating his heart to stop or beat again
He wondered, he sighed, but he never said
All I could be, just........be myself
A star nine born somewhere to burn the light
Something for the kids to count on and smile real wide
A star nine born somewhere to burn the light
And the dark went deep.....and deeper into midnight.
When the first snow came he heard her whisper
About the beauty of love, felt like a kid
Can't deny , can't accept, he never said
Nothing at all, Said nothing....nothing at all
The day never faded from his mind
But All I could be is be myself, just be myself
The colors of the galaxy hidden in his heart
His voice choked up , echoes wanted to say
But never were born the magic words of love
Never could say loud enough, magic of love
Wanted to scream I LOVE YOU! but he never did
Never said the words, He never said
A star nine born somewhere to burn the light
Something for the kids to count on and smile real wide
A star nine born somewhere to burn the light
And the dark went deep.....and deeper into midnight.
