@Rick, that's one thing that Taylor has not changed...head stock looks same as new ones.

Allen, that is a real beaut!  Very unique pickguard and bridge.  What does the headstock look like?

Received the DN3 I ordered. Tuned it up and now I can't keep my hands off it. Seriously think my wife is getting jealous. Wow! What a guitar.....

Haven't been able to play my Taylor for a while. Too much buzzing with the warm weather. I finally brought the action up, and used it this weekend!  Boy have I missed that sound:)

I have owned a Taylor GS7 in the past and they are fantastic guitars.  Great sound and easy playability.  Good luck on your quest.

So far I like the K4: definitely impressed with the quality, and overall really helps achieve control over the difficult midrange. I need to test again when I get my Mackie SRM150 ( long story about that for later). I will try to get some audio/video posted soon.

Hi Greg.  Sounds like a beautiful guitar.  Right now I play an 810ce  How do you like the K4?  I had posted a comment asking about it, but so far haven't gotten any response.

Thanks Newbie Dean ... I'm sort of a solid wood snob, but the wood doesn't have to be exotic.  I love mahogany and rosewood, but Sapele is just fine with me.  The GC8 I played looked, played and sounded wonderful.  Glad to hear that the GC3 (something I might actually be able own) has the same great sound and playability.  The wider nut is somethng that I have decided is an absolute necessity in any make or model that I would buy.
