It's NGD for me at last ... just got the call that my minty fresh Taylor GA3-12 has finally come in after a wait of 9+ weeks!  I'm taking the afternoon off!!!  Yeehaw!

I came in to say I have read the comments here on the wall about the T5, along with the Discussion above T5 Owners. I have to say That looks like a dream guitar for a Poor Southern Indiana Boy like me. Maybe a daily beater for some. anyway while I was perusing the T5 pages at the Taylor site, I ran across a page called Service Packages. On that page there is an 800 number with the heading "Have a question?" there is also an FAQ area, and their business hours.

Perhaps one of you might go there, call the number, or check the FAQs although I doubt if the TRS Jack would be mentioned there. Maybe one of the reps on the phone (Those are those things we used before the internet to gather information.*lol pickin' on ya*) could enlighten the caller, who in turn can share with the rest.

I'm out of here. Good luck on that info. personally I think it is primarily used for noise reduction like XLR cables.

Strange...I can't find anything online about the output jack on the T5 at all!!! This may signal the end of the internet!
