Comment by Bill Lawlor on February 4, 2012 at 8:43am Nice job, Dan. The guitar sounds really has a great sound. By the way, don't sell yourself short as a singer. Bill
Comment by Dan Randolph on February 4, 2012 at 7:11am Hear my RG&G G20 at work. Pay no attention to my vocal, I am not a great singer.

That is so cool.
Comment by Bill Lawlor on February 2, 2012 at 8:32pm Dan,
I had seen a photo of Bobby Helms with a double pickguard and thought it really looked great. When I spotted one, I had to grab it. I lucked into Ferlin's Husky's Grammer on ebay about a year before he passed. It was one of his stage guitars until a mike stand fell and punctured the top. He autographed in above the sound hole and gave it to his son-in-law. As I understand it, the name and label were removed because he was only supposed to play another guitar. It even came in his flight case with his US Air club tag on the handle. I also have one of Hank Locklin's Gibson Doves. If only he would be elected to the Hall of Fame one of these years, then I'd have two member's guitars. Bill

Bill, the "2" on mine is stamped on the back of the headstock instead of the block.
I understand that Bobby Helms had a G10 with a double pick guard. I wish I could find one.
Bill, how did you come by Ferlin Husky's Grammer & why was the Grammer name removed?
Comment by Paul Mike Misken on February 2, 2012 at 3:45pm Yes, the 2 meant that it wasn't going to be sold and that it had some kind of flaw in it. Although, Billy Grammer's personal acoustic guitar was stamped with a 2. Billy had put it in a corner in his shop and one of his employees was trying to take it home. Billy then took it for himself and fired the employee. Grammer Guitars are wonderful sounding guitars and are apart of Americana history. Dan's RG&G G20 is very beautiful. I wish I had it!
Comment by GregsGuitars on February 2, 2012 at 3:40pm I am glad to see people are finding my group.
Comment by Bill Lawlor on February 2, 2012 at 9:10am That's interesting because my maple RG&G also has a 2 stamped on the block. Makes me wonder what they hid under the second pickguard.
