Not much activity here for a while.  Thought I'd check in with the group and see how ya'll are doing? I found a local bluegrass group that hosts a jam once a month. Three hours on a Tuesday evening - so much fun!

I guess it depends on what you are trying to accomplish with your DD214. Speaking of which, did you hear about the additional social security payments for vets? It comes to around $100/mo additional when you draw social security. 

You'll need your DD214 for that.

   You veterans out there might be interested in viewing this video of a performance of Nell Robinson's"Soldiers' Stories", which was presented yesterday, 12/12/11, at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC.  This is a program she has put on here in the S.F. Bay Area annually for the past three year in celebration of Veterans' Day.  In that time it has received quite a bit of appreciative attention and has generated a considerable sum of money for several veterans' benefits organizations.  [Michael S. Jackson:  if you're watching, you should recognize the guitar player.]
