Just saw the new Premier series. Looks like a cheaper replacement for the American series. I wonder why they eliminated the zig-zay bridge, red cedar top, and the herringbone option. These just don't…Continue

Getting settled in with the Oregon series concert size I picked up a while ago. It is a limited edition -- a C20-SMYR. I am not sure what the R designation means as opposed to the standard model SMYE. The guitar does have some unique features ... sunburst top, gold hardware, dual source electronics and stained back, sides and neck.

And the tone ... tone for days. A buddy came by and was playing it a while Sunday night, and it sounds really good from in front. One really surprising thing is the bass response you get from this smaller body. As a person with a more compact frame, a smaller guitar is important to me. But you don't seem to give up low end with this one. It just kills Satna Cruz and other bigger dollar guitars I had played. Just a remarkable instrument.

It handles gentle playing very well, putting forth a warm and complex tone with a light touch. But if you hammer on it with a flat pick, it just gets lound and fat.

Smiling really big these days ...

Now that is one pretty lady. I would dearly love to take her out dancin'.  I haven't been to the factory since they introduced to new line and I am chomping at the bit to get my hands on one.

Hi.  My name is Patrick Dodd, I am what is called a fanatic.  I have played and loved Breeds for quite awhile now.  My last three Cd's were recorded on my OM Revival because as a finger-picker I have yet to find another instrument that adds overtones and subtle harmonics like my OM-M.  I live about three or four hours from Bend and go to Mecca as often as possible.  I have been a social justice songwriter for going on thirty years and I am very excited about the new Oregon line (I have a date with a Mrytle wood BL on my calender) please give these guitars a look and listen.  My newest project is a collection of songs I have written about the lives of Outlaw Farmers in Southern Oregon, which I assume will mean that I'm going to make enemies in high places, and will see me preforming in some pretty strange venues before this one is over, but I have carried my OM-M into more struggles in the woods and strike lines and homeless camps than you can imagine and it has never failed to get as loud as I need it to without losing in integrity. I cannot say enough good things about the brand or the people I have met in Bend.  If you would like to know more about the Outlaw Farmer Project and the struggles of Oregon Medical Mar. farmers in general you may contact me at my website or look for me on facebook.  We'll see you in the streets.

Here's the latest link to 35 Breedlove's in Wolfe Guitars inventory:

And, oh my God, they have a CM Classic!  A 1998 model for $3550!  I cannot buy it, but I need to go play it...

This one has a Koa back and sides - the "standard" model is (I believe) walnut...

One more...
