Acoustic Guitar Community members are encouraged to
create both personal and professional profiles. Feel free to post
content related to the topic of acoustic guitars, including but not
limited to playing, artists, guitarmaking, guitar-related events,
and career building. If ever in doubt, please contact the
Acoustic Guitar Community administrator at
club@stringletter.com. It is our policy to delete
information from this website that is unrelated to the topic of
acoustic guitars.
2. Users are responsible for the content that they post on the
Acoustic Guitar Community site. No articles, news reports,
or other copyrighted material may be posted without the permission
of the relevant copyright owners. If one posts content that falls
under copyright (e.g., if one posts a video of oneself playing a
song that is copyrighted) and the owner of a copyright asks a
Community member directly to remove content, he or she must honor
that request.
3. If the copyright owner asks for us to remove that content from
our site, we'll inform the poster and remove the content.
4. Be respectful and civil to other members, even if you disagree
with them.
5. Any unacceptable content (including but not limited to posts,
user names, or subject lines) will be deleted.
6. We do not allow harassing, threatening, racist, abusive,
hateful, violent, vulgar, or obscene language or behavior.
7. Participation in, encouragement of, or suggestion of any illegal
behavior is cause for immediate deletion and suspension of posting
privileges, and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
8. Flooding or spamming on the site is not permitted. Our policy is
to immediately delete the profiles of those who distribute
unsolicited marketing material through our websites. This includes
directly contacting individual members of the Community with
promotional offers and links to products that they did not
request.
9. No commercial solicitation or advertising will be allowed.
10. We ask that you refrain from transacting business on this
website.
11. This is a public discussion forum. Do not post personal or any
other identifying information, such as your name, address,
telephone number, etc. Also, do not post any personal information
about a third party without that person’s explicit consent.
12. Please keep in mind that other users may claim expert status
(legal, medical, etc.) that they do not, in fact, possess. We
encourage you to use discretion in following their advice.
