Ahh yes, mine are Capital records now that you mention the name. I got all mine from a good friend back in 1988 who was fastidious as heck. He bought them new, recorded them (on tape) as he played them once, and then never played them again. Got really tight for money and sold them to me. I've honored his tradition and never, ever played them.
When I get home I'll take pics and send them.
I have all the vinyl LPs, the Capitol Record ones. I almost wore out some of them, so in late 60's and early 70's I replaced most of them. Mine are in good condition also, but do not know what they are worth either. I did see a website awhile back that showed that some of them are quite valuable. I would start with Google and see where that leads you. I had chances back then to buy the "import" British Parlophone versions , but never did. I would be interested in what album versions were released in Canada. Were they the British or American versions? They were quite different in their song lineup, and the British versions did not include many of The Beatles singles which were later released together as the "Past Masters" albums. Also am not familiar with the German bootleg album. When you get a chance, I would like to see some photos of your albums. I am a Beatle freak, so I am very interested. Thanks, Mark
Noticed your ID photo had the Sunburst....and, yes, we are starting a gathering.
Also noticed your Beatles pics. Do you know if there is much of a market for original Beatles records? If so, where?
Mine are not the Apple ones, but the Canadian manufacturer label....can't say what it is at the moment as I'm away for the next few weeks and I can't remember it. Anyway, I have 18 or 19 of them in mint condition including the black market one recorded in Germany, also mint.
