"Here's my 60's/70's Yamaha banner flanked by my FG-350W & FG-300.  To the left is a disassembled FG-200 (YES, I was able to steam off the neck!), and a disassembled Seagull S12+ to the right.  I really need to work on…"

"I try to use FedEx as well...a distribution center is only a mile or so for our house. Sometimes you need to call them at 6AM just to be sure it'll be waiting there for you, and not on a truck. Best of luck, Bud.... "

"ARGH!!!!  It's on the truck, out for delivery!!!  Now the 8 hour wait before I can pick it up, assuming it gets there by then.  I'm hoping it arrives early afternoon and has time to warm up slowly so I can open it when I get…"

"More info on labels.  http://forum.japanaxe.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=2545 I haven't done much research on the logos.  They probably reserved the pearl logos for the higher models."

"I just realized the red label doesn't say Nippon Gakki, so it was made in Taiwan, probably 1971/72. When are they going to ship it???????"

Dave Fengler commented on Acoustic Pickers's group Yamaha Guitars
"Thanks!  From the little research I've done so far, the YAMAHA on the headstock in "pearl" indicated it was made 1968 to 1971, the early models.  1972 on the logo was made in gold. The wait is going to kill me!!!!  More…"
