regarding the tone bars ,, I use a Dunlop Lap Dog ,, I think the model is ,, ( dont really get much choice around here),, tho I do have a Titanium bar Tim Scheerhorn gave me when I was over there ,, very light and for the right pieces ,, very fast and quite different sound

Tony Burt said… G'day John ,, thanks for the tip I might look out for some semi flat strings ,, esp for the Weissenborn ,, I think because it has a more delicate sound the string noise is more prominent
