"GREAT PHOTOS!  I had to go in my studio and take a look at mine after looking at your pics - yep, same great-looking guitar :)  I like how when you take photos of these 'bursts in the direct sunlight the outer edge appears so dark,…"

"Michael - Congrats!  I think you're definitely picking up on the attributes of that solid hand-carved top!  I'm very curious to hear about your thoughts on the pickup - as I think I already mentioned, I actually raised the pole…"

Bill Wray replied to Jud Hair's discussion If you could only own ONE acoustic for the rest of your life ...
"My Recording King ROS616 - has everything I've always loved in a guitar starting with a non-sticky satin finish over an all solid mahogany guitar.  Sure, I'd lose any ability to have a brighter sound, but I'm a mellow-sounding…"

Bill Wray replied to mike lugo's discussion What kind of guitar to by first?
"Looks like you've received a lot of good info on purchasing your first guitar.  In regard to dimensions and specs, a lot of that will be foreign to you until you've put some time into playing, then you'll realize how certain…"

Bill Wray replied to robin623's discussion barre chords
"Fingerboard radius does affect the ease of a clean sounding chord when "Barred."  This does open up another can of subjective worms as I find a flatter radius to be actually easier when barring chords, especially when getting the 1st…"

Bill Wray replied to Michael S. Jackson's discussion Loar 309 Archtop in the group The Music Link Acoustic Instruments
"Yeah, I was doing the review thinking more about jazz, since that's what I'm usually listening to.  I never had a chance to hear how it would sound with roundwounds and a bit of overdrive since I strung it w/ flats immediately out of…"
