Thanks for the info - I am still considering what I want, as I am somewhat ambidextrous, and have been considering that if I can learn right-handed, I'd be able to play any guitar most people had around, once I am fair at it!
Local pawn shop has a Takamine G series acoustic-electric, black (would prefer natural woodgrain) - has priced it for $210...I'd like to find something that will give me the biggest bang for the buck, but still not too pricey, so I won't feel guilty about it if I don't practice every day...I'm sure I will be able to fit in 20 - 30 min a day...lunch time sounds like a good time!
