Bet you didn't expect to start all this. Just go play lots of guitars until you find the one that sings to you. That is what I did and everyone else as well. Be open minded about it. I really thought I wanted a Martin, had the money and everything. Then I played the guitar I have now and Martin ideas flew right out the window. Lennie is right when he says "It's fun" you get to play many guitars of different make and construction and you get to learn the differences, similarities in both tone and playability. Take your time and find "the one". Back to that Matrix reference since I am big TRIC case fan. And I'm out.
