""Long story short (as it were), it's a poor workman who blames his tools" Amen to that...........like Django, I have 3 digits, and you'd be amazed to see what can be done with a limited fret hand!  Never cut short(pun)…"

"+1 Rosemary......concentrate on what you CAN do rather than what you can't, there are enough songs out there without an F chord, more than you could learn in a life time, playing guitar is about enjoying it and having fun, as long as your doing…"

"I have small hands and small fingers, and even though I play a 3/4 size guitar ( Little Martin) I still have a problem with stretches and barre chords. Sometimes I have to leave out some of the notes of the chord. My F chords are so bad that I try…"

"Its all really about getting better at playing the way are. Jimi hendrix and john mayer both use their thumbs for the bass notes. Especially when they play chords like a D chord but use their thumb to play the F# on the low E string. It takes work…"
