I'm out!

It's really official now. I no longer own a Godin product, having just sold my A&L Ami on eBay to pay for a digital piano. And I don't see me coming back any time soon, not because I don't like Seagull or Godin, but because I just won't be in a position to guitar swap for a while. I have a Recording King dread that I've upgraded (locking Schaller strap pins, ebony bridge pins and a Greven pickguard), an Ibanez electric that I love, and a Squier bass that I'm learning, and now a Casio…See More

"On second thought, mailing my only guitar, which also had a lifting bridge, back to New York, who would then mail it to Quebec, at a cost of $100, then waiting a few months for them to fix it (or not), was not very appealing at the time. That's…"

Hey there Dave,

I'm thinking that place may have changed names along the way sometime. Either that or my memory is even worse than I thought it was. (Which is entirely possible.) JM's doesn't ring a bell like I think it should. I remember Calhoun's on the square. I also recall a little restaurant called Spanky's that had really good sandwiches. I'll have to get ahold of some old friends and find out if my memory really is that fried. ;-) Maybe they can also tell me who it is that I saw at TRAX. LOL!

Dave -

It appears that Wolfe has a TV1710E in their TN store:

They call it a 1720, but it obviously is a 1710...

Only one on G-base...
