Hi David,
I just read your comment on alternate tunings. I've been playing for a bout a year . . . we are of the same generation. Haven't tried alternate tuning yet - my teacher thought it might confuse me at this point. However, I enjoy Celtic music and much of it is played in alternate. I'd enjoy hearing from you as you experiment with new tunings. I'd like to try the drop D first.
