What does it really mean to "Jam" with other musicians?

Ok, as a spectator I know a jam is when experienced musicians, who normally do not play together, get together and play. My question is from being a beginner, if I were to sit down with other…Continue

As a beginner, I think it would be great to load a MP3 into a program then be able to play it hearing only the guitar. This would help learning strum patterns or lead. Then reverse it, blocking only…Continue

And the winning choice is......!!!

Spent 1-1/2 hours at the music store this afternoon after work. As suggested I played the S6, that I've been eying up for a couple years now and the Entourage Rustic. Went back and fourth several times. Had the salesperson, Mark, who is also a very long time friend of mine, play the S6 while I played the Rustic. I walked out with a brand new Seagull Entourage Rustic. I liked the shorter neck and tone of the Rustic over the wider nut and longer neck of the S6.I had to chuckle when he rung up the…See More

S6 Original vs Entourage Dreadnought

I thought I posted this last night but don't see it anywhere so will post again, sorry if a repeat.I've had my eye on an S6 Original for a long time now. Stopped at Guitar Center Friday to have a dose of S6 enjoyment, had other business also. But darned if they didn't have any left. So I picked up an Entourage Mini-jumbo and then an Entourage Dreadnought. Big mistake. Now I can't decide between the S6 or the Entourage Dreadnought. The tone of the Dreadnought is what I've been looking for. The…See More

My guess is shipping the S6 would be $35-$55, but I'm not sure.  I think the music store is willing to ship it, and I presume they know how to do it safely.  Go ahead and give them a call.
